Özet: Yapı Kredi, the first national private bank of Turkey, is a leader in setting standards for the Turkish banking sector through the introduction of new products and services. The bank wanted to find a technology solution that could help its work force of nearly 17,000 employees communicate and collaborate more efficiently. To improve operations, the bank deployed Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 and the Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2 client. The software provides bank employees with flexible, powerful tools for communicating and collaborating. Employees use presence technology and instant messaging to quickly see if colleagues are available and to send messages much faster than using e-mail or phone calls. With features like Web-based conferencing, IT teams can solve problems more efficiently and the bank can train remote branch office employees easily and cost-effectively.
